Carlos Daniel Auzqui, a 33-year-old Argentine professional footballer, has officially signed with Chilean Primera División club OHiggins. The deal was announced on February 12, 2022, after months of speculation surrounding Auzqui's future.
Auzqui is an experienced player with a successful track record in both Argentina and Europe. He began his professional career with River Plate before moving on to Estudiantes, Colón, and Racing Club in Argentina. In 2019, he made the jump to Spanish club Sevilla, where he played for two seasons.
Known for his speed, dribbling skills, and ability to score goals, Auzqui is expected to make an immediate impact on OHiggins' squad. The club, which finished mid-table in the 2021 season, is hoping to challenge for a higher position in the upcoming campaign.
